1st level

* Learn the state texts. You must be able to tell the whole lesson at a stretch.
* Don't use any kind of books of any publications for SAT as the paper is not let out and these books misguide you.
You may use these books for practicing MAT.
* Solve as many MAT papers as possible and while solving the paper think generally before and if you don't get an answer get to the extraordinary way.
* See the pictures, maps, diagrams and photos from the state texts carefully because all the questions based on the pictorial part would be asked as it is from the state texts.

2nd level

* Prepare NCERT syllabus well.
* For science be as applied as possible.
* The format of the questions of the second level is like you get a question: what will happen if...? then four statements would be given again after that they would ask which of the following statements is(are) correct. So you must read and understand the questions quickly.
* The last 10 questions so called the subjectives are very easy so attempt them.Don't sit thinking over tough problems. Reach till the end of the paper.
* Maths problems are really very tough so I advice you not to waste time over them. Finish the rest of the paper and then comeback to Maths.
* In the History NCERT texts there is a column at the end of each lesson called the 'Elsewhere' and also in the geography texts there is another column called the 'Do you know?' read them thoroughly because some of the questions are asked from them too.

The Interview

* Try driving the interview. For example if you are good at physics include some or the other content of physics in your last answer so as to urge them to ask you on physics. This way you could easily breeze the interview.
* Prepare regular questions like : introduction, your aim, information of the place you stay, your hobbies, your idol and also your parents' occupations.
* Carry a pen with you because it would be very awkward asking the interviewer for his if he asks you to solve something.
* Be polite with the interviewers. Don't ever get into a fight with them.
* Don't just start after the question is completed. Take a pause, think on the question and then answer.
* Admit your ignorance. If you don't any answer just them politely "Sorry sir/madam I don't know" instead of boasting it up.
